Whoo Hoo--- It is finally Friday. What am I excited about most-- well tomorrow I can sleep in without an alarm going off! This time change thing has me really struggling. Before the time change, it was starting to get light out just about the time I was getting up. After the time change, it is darker than dark....like midnight dark! It is so much easier to get up when it is daylight out!
Let's hit our questions.....
1. What is one thing you wish you did not have to teach your children? To clean up after themselves. I get so tired of finding dirty dishes, clothes, etc all over the floor, living room, in strange places. I just cannot seem to get through to them that it really isn't fair for me to have to do everything around the house. Sigh.....
2. What are you going to use since Google Reader is going away? I honestly am not sure yet. I would love something similar to Google Reader and something where I can just dump in my Google Reader so I don't have to go back and redo everything. Sigh.....I absolutely adore Google Reader.....I used it every single day. I have no idea why they would think they need to get rid of it. It seems like every time I find something I like......someone decides to get rid of it!
3. British comedy; Hilarious or strange? I think it is very strange.....well some of it. My husband and all my kids absolutely LOVE Mr. Bean. I just do not get it. To me it is just stupid but they all love it and will laugh and laugh when watching it....
4. Do you prefer card games or board games? Probably more board games than card games. We love Apples to Apples....Yatzhee....Left, Right, Center......those are always the requested games.
5. Will winter ever end? At this point it feels like NEVER!! We are suppose to be around 3 inches of snow today/tonight. Then we have another snow storm heading our way for Monday/Tuesday. It definitely doesn't feel like March at this point! I guess however that none of the trees or plants will be getting a head start this year so we should have fruit this year (which is really good) so I guess if we have to deal with this cold nasty weather for a few more weeks....then I guess I can. It will warm up eventually-- right?!?!

I have never gotten into apples to apples and really should. I agree winter is killing me right now but I am not ready for 108 degree weather either
ReplyDeleteOh Apples to Apples can be soooo much fun with the right people. It really is easy to play and all our kids love it. Just be ready to laugh a lot and have a hard time choosing an answer!
DeleteUGH-- well if I was looking at 108 degree weather, I wouldn't be looking forward to it either. However right now we have 2 inches of fresh snow and it is COLD. I'm ready to get rid of this!
Hello! Stopping by from Five Question Friday. I love board games too... but, have never heard of Left, Right, Center... my kids are just getting into them, so I will have to check it out!

Technically Left, Right, Center isn't a board game but a game played with dice. My kids love it. We were introduced to it while camping....it is a super easy game to teach someone and since all you need is dice and some pennies to play-- easy to carry around too!

Is Google Reader on the blogger site? Or is that something totally different? I follow people through google...I'm quite confused.
ReplyDeleteGoogle Reader is part of the google empire if you will. They have blogger, email, calender, etc. Basically the reader uses the RSS feeder to subscribe. Then you just go to one page and all the blogs that you subscribe to are there-- they update when something new is posted. Just a one stop shopping kind of attitude where you can go read all the blogs on just one page. It is awesome.....I am going to miss it!
