There are so many great and interesting ideas on Pinterest. However, not all of them necessarily work the same for everyone. I imagine that anyone who has tried some of the ideas on Pinterest has found a few bombs or fails. I sure did and I thought I would share with you the ones that just didn't seem to turn out like I thought.
Pinterest bombs--
I have to admit, this caught my eye immediately. I made hubby try.....and I wish I had had my camera with me so I could have taken some pictures of him. He looked ridiculous and you know what.....it did NOT work. Bummer!
I really wanted this next one to work too. What could be more fun that blowing bubbles that glowed in the dark at one of our campfires. First, I must admit that I did not read the directions, I just had my father in law cut open one of the glow in the dark sticks and we poured it into the bubbles. Maybe the directions call for something different-- if you plan on trying this then definitely read them! The gooze from the glow in the dark stick did glow for a bit but the bubbles never did glow at all. Plus the glow went out fairly quickly-- except for on the end of the knife-- there it glowed for awhile!
Again this is another one where I improvised some what. I didn't have string-- but instead used some twine that I had. I used the instructions that were below the pin-- that might have been part of my downfall. At first it didn't look too terrible however the bottom was never quite right and it leaned horribly when on its own. I never did take a picture of my fail but instead used the stiff twine for something else!
