Ever feel like the universe is conspiring against you? This has been my week! Okay maybe it has been my last couple of months-- Interviews at two different places (even a second interview at one place) and no job-- ahhhh. Add in this week when I accidently left the pug in the garage for 45 minutes, planned tacos for dinner with no taco shells, broke one of my favorite bowls, and I have been soo cold all week plus had a sinus headache. I am a good person, I promise! Why is the universe against me right now??
Thankfully it is Friday, maybe next week will be better? Or maybe February will be an awesome month! That is my hope anyway......
1. Do you embrace or dread snow/cold weather days? Okay-- Let's see if I can explain this. I believe the snow is beautiful when I don't have to go anywhere and neither does my family. If we have to be on the roads and they are nasty- then I absolutely hate it. Plus H has issues with cold weather- so I am not a fan of cold!
2. Which game show or reality show could you totally win? I have to be very honest here. I don't watch reality shows or contests at all. I don't watch any game shows either. So.....I have no idea! Show that is most like my life? Probably a mix between The Middle and Modern Family!
3. What is your preferred climate? Hmmmm....I love having four seasons. I dislike winter (especially after the holidays) but I do like that the seasons change.
4. What do you buy every time you walk into the grocery store, no matter what? Hmmm....I don't think there is anything that I always buy at the grocery store. Many times when I go to the grocery store, we seem to need cheese and milk. But I have gone in and left without cheese and milk so??
5. If you see a spider/bug in the house, are you brave enough to kill it, or do you call for your hubby? Ha! See in our household, I usually kill the spiders because Hubby hates spiders! Occasionally they give me the shivers but not enough that I can't kill them. The only time I will get hubby to kill a bug or spider is because I can't reach it. But I have to say I have gotten very creative in order to get spiders off the ceiling! I cannot say that there is a bug I couldn't kill. Now if we start talking snakes....well that is another matter entirely. If there was a way to make my yard snake free, I would definitely do it. I am beyond terrified of snakes.
I plan on enjoying my weekend-- I hope that yours is a good one too! Stop over to My Little Life to see everyone else who links up to 5 Question Friday.

I don't mind the little garden snakes, but if there were a big snake in my yard I think I'd have heart failure. I'm not a game show/reality show watcher either. Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteFor me, it doesn't matter. Little, big, black, green, whatever color it wishes to be-- I am beyond freaked out by them. I usually stop breathing, have been know to pass out and yeah- full blown panic attack!
DeleteThanks for stopping in!
I am so very glad I live in a place I do not have to deal with having snakes in my yard!
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower, found you through My Little Life. Would love for you to come visit me at http://themamareviews.blogspot.com/
I do my best to stay away from them. We only have 1 poisonous snake in Michigan but that doesn't matter-- they all scare me beyond to death!
DeleteI will definitely head over and check your blog out-- thanks for dropping in and following!
I don't really mind snakes. They startle me at first but that is usually it. Of course I have zero plans to be handling them and unless they are poisonous I leave them be. Spiders on the other hand, the only good one is a dead one.
ReplyDeleteNow spiders just don't bother me what so ever. I can kill them without an issue. Even when we lived in Florida and had some big crazy spiders......not nearly as bad as the snakes-- ugh!
DeleteThanks for visiting.
I grew up in Trinidad and snakes were very common. I don't like them either. New follower from 5QFriday. Nicki @ Nicki's Random Musings.
ReplyDeleteOh heavens-- I am so glad that I never lived where seeing snakes is a common thing. I probably wouldn't have made it to adulthood!
DeleteThanks for dropping in and a super thank for you following!
