Confessions for Sunday, December 2, 2012

Since I haven't been feeling well this week, it is fairly hard to do too much that is naughty.  Of course being sick has made me crave soda even more though.  It just never fails.  Since most of my diet has been liquid, soda has definitely been a small part of it.  I think the sugar helps create a bit of energy!

Soda: See above.  I have been enjoying my soda a bit too much but it sure does help.  After 2000 glasses of water and 2000 glasses of tea, I just have to have something a bit different.  Thankfully hubby was so thoughtful and bought me two bottles of soda to enjoy.  So just when you know you cannot stand one more glass of water, there is something that sounds good!

Trying to do too much: What do you do when all of a sudden you get sick but cannot afford to be sick?  That is exactly what happened on Monday.  I woke up feeling horrible, running a fever and had an interview.  Of course all those things have to happen all at the same time.  I have only been waiting over a year for an interview (don't ask-- several hundred resumes sent out without a single interview-- that is me!).  So I sucked it up, got all dressed up and did my best.  The worst thing-- I was sweating like crazy during the interview.  Not sure if my fever broke or if I was just nervous!  Then Tuesday Mr. H had a doctor's appointment.  It only takes months and months to get into these doctors so I couldn't call and reschedule.  I did feel a bit better on Tuesday but must have over done cause Wednesday I never made it out of bed.

Nothing done around the house: Since I have been busy (see above) and sick, nothing has been done around the house all week.  Hubby did some laundry on Thursday night plus he has kept the kitchen very clean.  But I haven't gotten the vacuum cleaner out in quite awhile (whoops!) and I haven't made it to the grocery store.   Add in all the blogging I had planned to get done this week (I had planned documenting a few crafting projects for the holidays) and well I just very far behind!

I am hoping to be much better by next week-- if not then I will definitely be off to the doctor.  So maybe next week I will actually get everything done that has been put aside this week.  I hope your household has missed this nasty virus-- Happy December!
