Hello Sunday! I cannot believe this week is Thanksgiving already. I am sure to have some good confessions next week! I love turkey, gravy, stuffing, gravy, pumpkin pie, gravy, pecan pie, gravy. Sorry-- yes I do love gravy! My hubby is always telling me that gravy is a condiment, not a beverage. I promise I don't drink it but I do like some potatoes with my gravy-- just a few potatoes! :-)
1. Chewy Milk Duds and Swedish Fish: Last Friday Mr. H came home early from school with a headache. Since he was just going to nap, I grabbed the blazer and headed to the store. I ran to the Dollar Store for some supplies for a future post so of course I went ahead and grabbed some goodies for me. I actually still have some milk duds left. Really! That is very unusual for me but I am proud of myself too!
2. Soda: I did awesome when I went grocery shopping. I really did plan on grabbing some then but hubby has been home all week so I would have had to confess to him why I was sucking down some soda! So this week the only time I indulged was when hubby and I went out to lunch on Wednesday.
3. Moe's: Honestly I think I behaved fairly well at our lunch out. I had 2 fish tacos (instead of a huge burrito or plate of nachos) and the yummy chips with some tomatillo salsa (which I loved-- I always thought I didn't like this kind of salsa).
4. Pink Salad: Which means I had some non dairy whipped topping. Yes, I know this is not good for me and is filled with nasty things. I have been so hungry for pink salad though. I have never tried it with real whipped cream but I might just have to. It is so incredibly yummy and I hate to eat too much of that tub stuff. So maybe this winter I will test it out. Now if there was just an awesome substitute for the jello in it!
5. Cookie Dough: Is anyone else like me and love to eat cookie dough? Yes, I know that the raw eggs aren't good for you but I have never gotten sick from it before. Plus the darned stuff tastes so incredibly good! I love it all- sugar cookie dough, chocolate chip dough, brownie cookie dough, peanut butter dough, oatmeal cookie dough, molasses dough. I have never found a cookie dough I don't like! Since it is almost time to hit the kitchen and make a bunch of cookies, I am sure to indulge in this vice many, many times.
What a week! How was your week? What confessions do you have?
