We have officially finished up February and we are into March. For those of us who struggle with the winter blues, it is the home stretch-- I think! The beginning of the week was crazy and I have to be honest- I let things slide. Which then became a struggle to stay motived to do most everything. I think I am somewhat back on track and I learned my lesson-- stick to your normal game plan as much as possible- or plan ahead!
So onward to this week's craves!
1. Next week there is a chance that it could reach the middle 50's here in Michigan. I am craving a day warm enough that I can open windows and air this stinky house out! Hmmm just the thought of the smell of the fresh air has me perking up.
2. My green thumb has been happy this past week when I was able to transplant some newly sprouted tomato and cherry tomato plants. I get excited that eventually we will be eating yummy stuff from our garden.
3. Lemons. Lemons were on sale this week at the grocery store so I grabbed a bag. It made me think of the pasta salad and dressing I made last summer with fresh lemons. It tasted incredible on fresh from the garden cukes and tomatoes. I did not anticipate how much my kids would love them. The natural version of sour candy?? All of them have been sucking on lemon slices. I don't know why but I can't complain I guess!
4. Some "Me" time: This week started out so crazy that I fell behind, way behind. I haven't been able to catch up and my calendar is pretty full for the next several days (mostly for blogging committments I have made). Therefore I am craving a day to read, catch up on all my dvr'd shows and veg out. Maybe by the end of next week.
What are the current craves at your place? Let all of us know what your current craves are, we would love to know what we are missing out on! Come back for a visit soon.
